SOCIETY OF ST. VINCENT THE PAUL
(SVP)
The Society Of St. Vincent De Paul Association assists the poor and the needy families of our Parish. SVP was founded in our Parish in 2017. The officials from the SVP head quarters in the diocese were invited and the association of the laity was formed. They now work under the guidance of Fr. Louis who loves and serves the poor and the sick.
The church encourages more laity to serve the poor and the sick. The rules and regulations of this Society of SVP. The emphasis is not on paying money to the poor but the care of the sick and comforting of the families that God loves them. It should be given new hope in Christ. The society not only to discuss the applications but to find out who are sick and suggest to them where they can be best treated to gain good health of body, mind and Spirit. Our SVP is doing well with 12 members and they meet twice a month besides their visits.
